We have had to shoot the pups before. Mom ended up in y buddy's cross hairs and we came up on the den.
Not pleasant work. Not pleasant at all.

Kind of like the time we shot the HUGE possum. She had 12 babies clinging to her. Five gallon bucket of water and a lid....that was unpleasant but cheaper and faster than a dozen bullets.

Aww! Our little Chewy is having such a hard time lately. I fear his time is coming to a end! I'll never be without a dog. I never replace them cause each dog I've ever had is unique. But I love having a dog around the house. They add years to your life!!
