I know he got crap for cancelling an appearance the day of the Ferguson verdict and the riots going on. HE said he didn't think it was the proper day to make an appearance. People took that to mean he was disappointed in the verdict, but I think he just didn't want to celebrate/party while a city was burning, but who knows.
