when MY Grandma passed she had a room full of afghans. Grandpa set one out for all the kid, grandkids etc that hadn't been married and gotten one yet.
I kept those afghans in my closet for almost 22 years before I gave them to both girls. I was going to save them for their wedding day. I gave up on them getting married.

Marriage is not that popular these days.

We have one from my great grandmother. It's about 115 years old. We have it on our bed. Mostly for looks. I've been having dreams with my mom in them lately. Mostly cause my brother died 40 years ago next week. I've been thinking of them both a lot lately. Miss them all.

Spent the day working around the house. Then I was lucky enough to go walk-about in side a piece of history.

Coming up on the day my oldest son passed. He has been on my mind a lot. It has been 13 years. I still hurt.
