They are running 10 different race teams out of that facility. 4 Indy car teams....Mazda pro series cars....Indy lites cars.....some crazy sporty classes.
It is as clean as a surgical arena and well set up. I have a few friends that work there and they send me all the odd job work like wiring the trailers and such.

I thought I had included you in my previous greeting, the pain meds must be kicking in....

I had a sucky Monday, I forgot to tell you about.

I got a call last Thursday about a Mandatory meeting this Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday at out Pittsburgh area plant. I thought, WTF I was just talking to the owner (my boss) 30 minutes ago and he didn't say anything about it. Plus, I had already made sales call appointments for this week.

So, I sent my boss an email asking him what to do? My Boss already knew about my appointments and that they were important.

So, I get a call 30 minutes later from the guy calling this "mandatory" meeting asking if it was possible for me to attend the 1st day, Monday, since my appointments didn't start until today? I said sure.

There are no direct flights from Indy to Pittsburgh, so I spent all freaking afternoon & evening Sunday flying to Pittsburgh. Get up early Monday and drive to the plant to learn that the meeting was cancelled, nobody was able to get out of Boston Sunday night, they closed the airport...

All that time & money, plus one day of my weekend wasted. I spent all day yesterday flying home standby...

I have also learned how play the system with the Airline Customer Service ladies to get upgrades & free standby status. It got me home at 8:30 last night instead of 11:30...
