We had a great mailman for a long time. We would give him cookies, cold drinks in the summer and such. We quickly found the mail route was move around so that our stop was just before lunch rather than the end of the day. We have a new guy now who walks around always on the phone cursing to whoever he's talking with.

Our last mail lady was a drunk. She got fired for drinking while delivering the mail. Sadly, I miss her because she was WAY better drunk than this ***** is sober.

I was ice skating in mine today...in the truck and on foot. Pure ice. That was a fun walk to the mailbox. I told hubby that if the house phone rang, he better answer it cause it would be me dying on the ice. I walked out. Phone rang. I was not me, but the neighbor lady sure got a laugh out of how he answered it!
