I checked the inventory of my gpa's stuff...I have a Marlin 39TDS lever action and a Ruger 77/22 bolt action available to me if I was to do an Appleseed. Not sure if either have a sling though

Yeah. The purpose of it would be as an ar trainer, and for my son to get into the ar platform. Not so much lying in prone. Though my son tends to want to be accurate, vs running around shooting stuff.
If I want groups I will go to the 10/22's. We'll see if it pans out. I'm getting roley eyes from the wife
