what happened?
Hi Sam. I saw your report on your doctor's appointment. They would have had to sedate me to do that kind of an injection. I sure hope you get some relief.
Ahhhh, my day sucked. Had an appointment with the Neurosurgeon for my neck. Packet the office sent me had me going to an office on the northside, right behind St Vincents Hosp. I get up there and find out I'm supposed to be in their greenwood office.
Drove like a bat out of hell around town to get to the right place, but had to wait while they worked me in because "I was late".
Finally get to see the surgeon. He thinks I am going to need surgery. Even showed me a couple of screenshots of the MRI because he said my bulged disk was "noteworthy". Have to go back a week from Friday to see their Surgeon that specializes on Necks for his opinion, since he is the guy that will be doing the surgery.
To attempt to ease the pain & swelling, I was given a couple of injections directly into my bad disks. I'll spare you the gory details of how they do this, but they go in from the front (which surprised me) and use a freakin .50 cal needle. I hope it helps (he said it can take up to 2 days to kick in) because that was no freakin fun at alllll.
Not a fun day.
when we went there a lot, I saw that some. that's a shame reallyNot sure but if so the treatment I received last I was in elmores is costing them.......and it should.

I guess I am just going to have to start saying one big lurker prayer instead of trying to include everyone individually. Sounds like we all could use it right now!
Mrs. G - I had a thought last night. You said your granddaughter is on Prednisone. Tell your daughter to make sure to give her things that are high in potassium. When my son was on steroids, they had me give him stuff to keep his potassium levels up. Bananas and raisins were two of his favorite treats because he ended up eating them all he wanted during those times.
I also tested the nebulizer machine today. It still works fine so just let me know if she needs it.
Sorry to hear that CM, I have heard that is no fun either....
I'm getting the idea you guys like Tilted Kilt girls.
