    When you are using the stone or the real tile you usually have to put down a levelling compound first.

    Hi Birds. Yeah, I know, but I was looking for something to do a tile top on a table, or just to use as trivets. No more doing floors for me. I'm too old and too big for all that up and down.

    My dad, one time, went to Lowe's and Home Depot and asked for broken or chipped tile they were going to throw away. He let the granddaughters go at them with hammers. Then they got to make a pattern for a table top and he grouted it in. Was a very cool little table. Man, that thing weighed a ton. ;)
