    In 1986 I was starting my teaching career at Ivy Tech. That seems like forever ago.
    I've text and erased my answer to this question three times. I cannot tell you where I was in 1986 without it sounding like I should be in jail. So lets say I was somewhere between here and there and I also was enjoying life to its fullest.

    In 1986 I was stationed in Georgia and we went to Charleston, to see the museum ships. I was pushing a stroller on an aircraft carrier.

    While getting intoxicated during the day with my old room mate (college days) we used to open the windows and yell at anyone who appeared to be under the age of 18, "Damn kids need to go to school!"

    Summer, spring break, whatever. We yelled. We laughed. It was fun.

    The irresponsibility of youth was truly an awesome thing. I remember those days with great fondness :)
