    Why is it OK for parents to get their daughters ears pierced when they are a baby/toddler/whatever, but if a parent would get their child a tattoo it would be child endangerment or something? Poking holes in the earlobes ain't unicorns and rainbows either...

    Just curious. Society is OK with one, but not the other.

    Because ear piercings will close if she chooses later on not to have pierced ears, remove earrings and let the holes close. Tattoo removal is more involved. :twocents:

    Yet society thinks child circoncision is not a big deal even though it wont grow back.Way worst than tattoos or piercings in my opinion.:dunno:
