Went great, thanks for asking. Unlike Thanksgiving when my MIL chocked and passed out, we got through the holiday meal without calling 911!!:):

It was fun, Wife & Daughter were both excited about their gifts. SAM got the Gisselle trigger he asked for to install in my scoped AR

That sounds fantastic. Glad you all had a great time. ;) Congrats on the new unpronounceable trigger. How long before install?

We have to have a meal with MIL at the nursing home later, as soon as we are finished the trigger is going in. 2 stage, 4 1/2 pound pull trigger system. It won't take 10 minutes to install.
I'll probably do a deep cleaning on my lower, take everything apart and wipe it down, then install the trigger when put it back together. That AR has at least 2500-3000 rounds through it, it's due for a deep clean.

Sounds like a fun, relaxing way to spend the day.

I forgot that you are not a Rifle guy. The AR trigger & hammer are just held in by 2 pins. You just drive out the old pins with a punch, remove the hammer & trigger, then reinstall. Really, it just takes a few minutes,

I am mechanically incompetent. ;) Well, not completely. So do you reuse the pins or do they have to be replaced? I know the stock trigger pins on CZs have to be replaced with more robust after-market pins when triggers are removed or replaced.

You can reuse the pins, you don't damage them when you remove them. But every time I have replaced the trigger with a new one, new pins were included in the kit.

You'd have to ask llh1956 about the CZ pins. He is the CZ whisperer. All I know is that it is recommended that they be replaced once removed. :dunno:
