I have been in this study for about 6 years. I am the 126th person in the world to have this experimental device. It's keeping me alive. I make frequent trips between here and a University Hospital in Chicago. I have had 5 related surgery's in the last 6 years. Just had one in June. I am thankful to be alive I would be dead 10 years ago!
