My puppy has been having some skin issues lately, so I decided to break a fish oil vitamin over his food today(supposed to help)...Every time I pick my nose, I smell dead fish.
allergies?
I'm still trying to figure that out, but yes, I'm guessing so.
He gets a monthly flea and tick treatment(Frontline), his diet doesn't have corn, wheat or chicken in it and he also gets benedryl several times a day.
WTF?Time to put some ice cream on the grill
He doesn't lose tons of hair, but it seems like he's constantly making a (somewhat minor) hot spot. It's almost always about 4-5 inches above his tail(on top of his lower back).
He also gets nasty little scabbys on the back of his neck. He obviously can't bite at it, so he must just be constantly scratching it.
He has a beautiful coat and it usually doesn't get bad enough to even notice if you aren't his owner, but it's really annoying.

Eczema?
Dogs can get it. Good luck with whatever it isI don't know if dogs get that or not, but no, nothing he has resembles that.
Can't blame you Good luck and Good nightI'm not ready to spend "ridiculous" money at the vet yet, so Ima try a few more options first.
