    Exactly.

    Skin the squirrel BUT DON'T SKIN THE TAIL, OR REMOVE IT!

    Then, once the oil is heated, roll the squirrel in corndog batter, hold it by the tail, and dunk it in.

    A couple minutes later... corn squirrel.

    You couldn't make my wife cook or eat squirrel or deer...
    i can handle the whole process with killing a deer, gutting but i don't like to look, and skinning and processing it, cooking it and eating it. rabbit as well. i think it stems from my childhood and there always being a naked squirell soaking in salt water in the fridge.

    I'd try squirrel or deer, I just don't want to see it alive before I eat it. Same of course would go for cow, chicken, pig, whatever. In my head i KNOW it was an animal... but I couldn't handle seeing that specific piece of bacon alive first.
