I know that, but I was assuming you could back up your kindle to your computer. I have no idea though, I don't have all those fancy electronics.

It was a series of books I had been reading.. a friend found them online (pirated) and I had the whole series.. some 39 or so books. Once we transferred them to the kindle, I deleted them from the computer.
I normally just buy or d/l free books from amazon (those archive on kindle site), this was a bit different because even at $3 a piece, 39 books adds up to a lot of money so I found the pirated set.
