Good morning Sam, CM, EC and Expat! Just ran up to the corner to buy a book of stamps and the car thermometer was reading 1*. They're saying our wind chill is -13*.

It doesn't seem windy at the moment. I did notice the one motion light was on when I got up and didn't see any critters passing through so might have been the wind blowing something around.

I have my insulated leggings on. Scrub pants are very thin and I am not driving in those.

Hubby and the daughter are taking the SIL's truck to the body shop today. She is picking him up so they can get the rental car first and then drop off the truck. I hope the truck isn't in there too long. It sounds like the rental the insurance is paying for is a compact car. Her husband is a big guy so she may end up having to drive that so he can drive her SUV. Not sure I like that idea on snowy roads. She is used to her vehicle. It was a significant up charge per day for a bigger vehicle at their expense.

I think he got hit back in November so I'm glad it wasn't bad enough he wasn't able to drive the truck until the shop could get it in.
