Good morning! Cole arrived an hour ago. My alarm didn't go off but I woke up on time anyway.

I usually nap with when he arrives early, but today it was already warm enough to leave the door open. It is nice sitting here listening to the birds singing. Whippoorwills and turkeys. I had to catch a frog that snuck in when Cole got here.

Mornin' Sam, red, Expat and mom! Slept in this morning. Alarm went off at 3, shut it off and next thing I knew it was 5:30. But I was up late (for me).

I may go ahead and trim up the maple tree out back. It about knocks me off the mower when I have to go under it. I just wish it wasn't such a pain to get rid of the trimmings now that the trash service won't take them anymore. Well, they will - one bundle at a time. That would take weeks.
