I got the dining room and the table cleaned up. That was a job. I had been accumulating mail and junk and other stuff on there.

What do you do with large framed family pictures that neither kid wants? Just pitch them?

It is like mine and my siblings baby pictures, 2 foot by 3 foot... no one wants to hang something that big except your own mom.

Not sure what to say about the family pic.. maybe get it reframed in a more modern frame making it more attractive for your kids? Maybe ask them if theyd want it if you did that. If not I'd take it out of the frame and roll it up and put in a tube for keeping it stored. I have a hard time pitching anything that has anything to do with family history pics included.

Crockpot is loaded and on. 3 lb chuck roast, smothered with a paste made with flour, mustard, chili sauce, Worcestershire, Red wine vinegar, and sugar.
Topped with carrots, celery, potatoes, onions, and brussel sprouts.
9-10 hour cook.
A hearty meal for supper after a round of clays with my son.

Bought stuff to make a batch of ham 'n beans. I'll put them in the crock pot tomorrow evening so I can eat on it next week. Wish I had room in my freezer. Kroger had turkeys for 33 cents a pound with a 25 dollar purchase. Did pick up a spiral sliced ham at Aldi for 1.69 a pound. Put it in the freezer for whenever we wind up having a get together with the grand kids.
