i had my usual tshirt, then the fancy silky long sleeved under amour shirt, heavy denim shirt. heavy wool commando sweater then winter coat. wore US Navy sock hat. heavy wool sock, long underwear bottoms, jeans, those heavy pac boots. and gloves.

i learned years ago, you can not over dress when you are sitting outside for an extended period of time. if you are going to be walking that is a whole different ball game, but just sitting doing nothing, wear all you can.

I went down and got my insulated coveralls from the basement. Somehow all of them had some how shrunk down there.... must be some kind of moisture issue down there.

I've had the same problem with my jeans too. And I'm afraid if we ever have to go back to the office I'm going to have to do some emergency shopping for dress pants.
