Stopped in to see one of my buddys at his shop today. I have posted up pics of his F-100 early in this thread. It is getting closer.

468 inch FE based stroker.




The patina is induced. The body is farm truck rough but the color is applied. It looks great.

Dang son. That should haul the mail. Did he have a horsepower goal?

That engine was originally built for the 60 Ford Starliner he built. It dynoed just north of 525 at the rear wheels.
And yes, it will haul the mail but also is docile enough until you push the little peddle real hard.

Yes. It is made to resemble old school mechanical unit but it is EFI and it does work very well.

It sits on an aftermarket chassis. Full on cool stuff.
He builds really nice Fords. I would buy any of them if the funds were available.

That is a fair price.

Thing is, there are no parts for these cars after market. And that one needs some body panels. Donor car but they all rust right where this one has. Arazona is full of bone yards with these old cars. I have picked up some parts for my 64 that way.

All the more reason to start driving out west with a trailer. I may have something in the works.
