No.... It needs some tune up work, that will come later. And tires, those are 40 years old... Would love to though! The Trans Am series cars are my favorites. Small high winding engines. My kinda cars.Kool
will you get to take it on a 7,500 rpm power shift ride?
Hot 302 with basically reworked 351 Cleveland heads.
Designed to compete with the Z28, Trans am, T/A Challenger, AAR Barracuda, AMX, and the famous Trans Am Javelin!
I guess pony cars were popular in 1970 ?
She is so pretty. Paint doesn't look bad in the crappy pix, but it's dulled up pretty good. Should clean up very well.Man Rusty that is gorgeous.
That doesnt sound near messy enough. We power wash the blocks before assembly. Every nook and cranny. Makes a mess, but really disturbes all the dirt and debris.Spent some time prepping the Old's block for assembly today.
Taped every hole. Brake clean and compressed air through all the oil galley's both ways.
Hand wiped all the bearing lands and galley's.
She is oiled and covered.
I'm really excited to get my hands on it and bring it up to what it really should be. Sad they don't make them like this anymore....I need to get some towels to clean up the drool. That is a beautiful car...always loved that grabber blue. Somebody remind me why they don't build cars like that anymore.

This block was boiled and painted already.
I still pulled some crap out of it.
If It was raw we would have been down to the wrecker shop using the steam jenny.

I had a 69 Impala. 300 HP 350 with TH350
pure stock except for rebuilt trans with shift kit. The second gear bark was cool.
I had the lid on the air cleaner turned upside down and the quadrajet sounded pretty sweet when you stood on it.
The car even had fender skirts on it
