You wouldn’t want to nap on that carpet. Somebody spilled antifreeze all over it.
I have not really spent any time in the shop since Sunday and that was on gun projects after I policed up the rest of our mess.
That cold weather wore me out.
Sorry about that. I probably pushed too hard
Not at all. This weather and life stresses have just beat me up lately. Needed a few days to reset.
I am glad we got that far. When my machinist buddy gets back in town we will see what’s up. Are you considering those head....monster power.
Anybody going to Dayton? I want these

I want you to have them.....
I have done many valley pans in my day..If it is the M60 or M62 motor....
Makin plans. Hope it works out.
Well do you have a deal for new heads?
And it’ll save me a couple bucks in machining costs because I’ll have to keep the stock deck height to maintain a pump gas friendly compression ratio.
Perfect.
And as to the match yes, you will about break even on costs of rebuilding the stock heads as those newer club looking exhaust valves would need to go. The total costs may not meet the price of the head but it would be very close depending on the condition of the valve guides/seats.
We will strip these when you get them and have a look..
I’d rather spend just a little more coin and get a MUCH better head.
Sigh...so frustrating.....
Was going to change the oil in the minivan tonight. Oil plug was RIDICULOUSLY tight. Like insane tight. Aaaaaand it rounded off. I guess that’s what I get for having someone else change my oil.
