“Chuckie”
‘99 Toyota Tacoma Prerunner, bulletproof 2.7L 4 cyl auto, 4.56 gears, no rust, solid frame, 167k miles. Added 2 Chevy half ton leafs in back with stock HD coils in front with adjustable Bilsteins. Does absolutely everything I ask except go fast, ride smooth, or get good mileage. Lifetime mpg of 17.2, with a high of 25 on a long 60mph road trip, and a low of 9.5 hauling 9k lbs of marble (no not in one trip.) Replaced the exhaust manifold maybe 10 years ago. Put in a budget bluetooth equipped stereo recently. Replaced the windshield a couple times. Run a bottle of seafoam through the engine every 5 or so years. That’s about it. I’ll get someone asking if I want to sell it every so often, but it’s practically a part of the family. I dunno, make me a good enough offer. Ive got a 4x8 trailer for the Palisade, but Chuckie has been invaluable for the Home Depot runs.
¯\_( ツ)_/¯
