I would imagine that if you get released with no bail for assaulting police there are certainly a multitude of other crimes you can commit in NY and not expect jail. Illegals may form a "can't touch this" gang and pillage the entire city.

IMHO, no different than going after Hyundai and Kia for their cars that are being stolen because some thieves figured out how to do it with a thumb drive. Don't blame the thieves, blame the car manufacturers!
