How about place a conference table in the middle of the road and sit down and talk things out.
So, it would be illustrative of where the problem lies.
Historically peace conferences were held behind closed doors.
We should work to get this to the public square. Only have chairs on both sides and invite anyone that wants to sit down. Have news and cameras at the ends so everything is open and above board.
