I had no idea a majority in Australia were gay thus warranting a need for same sex cross walk lights. Who knew? :dunno:

    Makes you wonder.
What did they do before this, just stand on the corners all confused? It must have been complete chaos. :runaway:

I guess if your medium includes whacking off to unconscious chicks... We used to call that porno back in the day. :): Snuff films if they went on to actually strangle the chick.

My wife will be getting a new office-mate. Her coworkers are hoping it's a hot guy. And even better if he's "woke". Now I know if I were to talk like that with my co-workers I'd be some man-pig or something.

    Well, you're obviously not woke.

What possible context would make whacking off on and then strangling an unconscious girl "okay"? I think I'll stick to Bugs Bunny for my cartoons... :dunno:

It's actually a pretty shocking scene, and requires a lot of context to drive home.

In my initial post, I just pointed out a few items that "SJW types" would jump on. These are a few items in a giant series with 26 episodes and three movies. It's a very brief scene in those hours of content, but serves a purpose. The main character even says, directly afterward, "I'm so ****ed up." I know I presented it very bluntly, but there's a ton of context behind it that makes it feel more "in-character" than my silly first post gave it.

It'd be like saying "what possible context would make cutting off a horse's head 'okay'" in regards to the Godfather series. When it's all put together, it makes sense. I apologize for my blunt presentation of the NGE scene, it was a poor way to present it.

My friend and I (mostly I) introduced my wife to a different anime... and me, in my stupidity, did it by jumping to a season 2 episode that was really shocking. It was a dumb way to do it... but I was mostly fishing for a reaction.

Eventually, she watched the entire thing from beginning to end and loved it. But she says starting with that episode was a really bad introduction... because, out of context, it gives a really bad impression of the show.

I'll just have to take your word for it. :) The closest thing to anime that I've watched was Thundercats. I don't recall any masturbation or strangulation from that series. :):

I think you could possibly be on to something. He's obviously a wolf in sheep's clothing. This statement alone demonstrates that he is hiding his toxic masculinity in attempt to get some trim. It's so damn obvious. Ladies. DO NOT trust this man.

Oh there's a pattern. Lot of prominent "male feminists" have been outed as abusers/harassers/etc in the past few years. That's exactly the reason, too... they think it'll unzip pants.

I think if someone points out that they are your “ally” in such a way it should make one a bit skeptical of their motives.

It's also virtue signaling. So there's that aspect too. I don't want to say everyone does it for the same reasons. You have to wonder what's going on in the mind of a dude who supports that nonsense.

If it does, it's going to be the pants of man hating feminist who will turn on you in a second if you don't file the correct consent forms before they do unzip.

The same thing as every other male's mind. He just found a different angle to play.

Problem is, it's real close to the eight ball.
