Why do people struggle to believe it when they tell you what they plan to do.

My favorite explanation is normalcy bias, meaning the acceptance of the premise is to scary to even acknowledge…

Sergeant Major of the Army Michael Weimer, the top enlisted leader of the force, recently issued new guidance on selecting command sergeants major that was essentially copy-and-pasted from his predecessor -- with one exception. It removes a line directing that a command sergeant major candidate's diversity be considered.

My one comfort is I live in the massive tri-county Detroit area that is overwhelmingly Democrat so not likely a target at this time. It is a short-lived comfort because the Smart Cities concept will wrap me in pretty quickly. I am within 1-mile of the Detroit city limits.
