One of those people raised on Big Bird. He went to his nest to sleep. As I frequently tell the school groups, "Real birds don't do that."
All the carefully constructed bird houses at work, which all have a nest in the summer, are completely empty now. Perfect places to get out of the weather and be secure, all empty. All winter.
