    I would not be a bit surprised if someone thought this was an achievement.

    Saw a guy at the range actually do this with a .22 revolver and a pen-style laser pointer...including wood block and hose clamps.

    When he gripped the gun he would pinch the frame with his left hand in front of the cylinder. Every time he fired it he yanked his left hand away and would shake it in the air. He probably shot the thing a dozen times or so before giving up and complaining there was something wrong with the gun.
