Actually it is a termite. Reproductives (kings and queens) like this one have a harder, darker exoskeleton since they fly out into the world to make new colonies. Ant and termite reproductives both have 4 wings, but termite wings are all the same size (like the pic), therefore the order name Isoptera. I can not be the only one who finds the second image disturbing. No fork marks. The angle of the missing whip cream(if you can call what comes out of a can real whip cream)that seems to defy reality as it nears the square pumpkin part.
