I did that this year. I stopped at 3 potatoes though. First potato was taken by a freshman girl, she was quite excited.

2nd was taken by a I'm guessing pre-teen boy, his friend who he was trick or treating was quite upset. I wanted the potato. Then he noticed the third one I had behind the bowl. Is that another potato? Yes. Can I have it? Please. Sure.

One kid was kinda funny. Is that a potato? Yes. Why do you have a potato in the bowl? Why not? Can't argue with that I guess. Said in a very pragmatic way.

These potato trick or treat stories seem an indication of the malleability of human reasoning. It's like watered down mk ultra. Lol.
