Prior to getting 167 new M16A2's with chrome bores in '75 and changing the .556 to a less corrosive powder some of the bores in the old ones may have been that shot out.

I was told the gun was "over gassed" and I would welcome an explanation of that. I suspect the casing bounced forward after being ejected with excessive force and got photographed in front of the muzzle by lucky accident.

The bolt is in battery, there's no smoke, and his finger isn't even on the trigger. That casing couldn't be in that position if he'd fired.

I think you mean case. The cartridge would be the entire bullet, gun powder, case, and primer.

I’d probably be somewhat angry, Franken would not be my friend, and I may call him an a-hole....but I wouldn’t try to ruin a guy’s career or let it rule my life or theirs.....because in the end it’s nothing. People do stupid stuff and I find no reason to join them in their immaturity. We will not wallow in victim hood, especially when nothing real happened.

I guess some people like to play victim, though.

Agreed, but he should have been cancelled (or actually never chosen to play) because of his policies and being a total *******.
