In 1934 the average retail price for a gallon of gasoline was $0.19. You could pay for that gallon of gasoline with two silver dimes and get a penny in change.
Today those dimes are worth $3.00 each.
Gasoline never did keep up with inflation, for some reason, until after 2000.
Gas prices are low right now, time for another refinery disaster.

Got to be a female thing. My wife goes with "You have ONE MINUTE...". I stick with "I am not telling you again....". It is a little interesting which phrase is used most often.In my parents house, there was no "counting".
