A few times at 465 & N Keystone some years ago I saw a Cutlass Cruiser station wagon with the first few letters missing. The guy driving it gave me the impression he'd removed them intentionally.

Not with a guy driving it, but I can see an attractive woman replacing the L with an E

Nah, these were simply removed. Start removing letters from the beginning, you'll get there. I just don't want to be too explicit...

I am so glad I did not know this was a real thing. Unfortunately I do now. I asked my soon to be graduated from college son if he had heard of this...nope. Though he said it did have some merit from a Darwinian perspective.
