It was hokey, wooden, and ham-fisted . . . but it also came across as honest and authentic to me. They want to sell furniture to everyone who has money or can qualify for their credit terms. That's capitalism!

Except they did....well, not actors, but it was designed to be exactly what it was by a professional, albeit small and oddly humorous, production company.
