I know. If I remember right, she's on a trip. So, with her boat messed up, she may be "up a creek".
I can't imagine a bear attacking a boat though.
Unless she (or someone) was stupid enough to eat or drop food on the cushions.
It was pretty stupid for her to think the bear could understand English.
On the other hand, could the voice be added later, and this is "fake"?

It could be, but it wasn't. Mary Maley has been interviewed about this a few times and has confirmed the authenticity...and its nothing if not authentic.

I can't imagine a bear attacking a boat though.

The bear is up during hibernation season...it's looking for food and probably ill, maybe rabid. It can smell her in the seat and will do whatever it can to eat whatever it smells. Once again I'd defer to the .45-70 option.

I read print interviews- that video went viral and at least a couple of newspapers sought her out...she said that her voice was higher than normal given the excitement...but she admitted that yeah, she has a high pitched voice:
