jack stands, and cribbing, are VERY important. My old firm had a case years ago where a guy was using the standard jack to change the oil on a Saturn SL. He was under the car and it slipped off the jack and applied pressure to his chest so that he way-too-slowly asphyxiated.
I happen to (still) have a Saturn S series and have been changing the oil on it for nearly 10 years. It has served all 4 of my kids well. Yes- to get to the oil filter, it's best to take the right front wheel off, but a real floor jack and most importantly, a jack stand make this a very safe operation. The only thing I can figure is that the guy was slid underneath it to get the drain plug...but that can be reached without getting as far underneath as he did.
We represented the Estate of the decedent...I never believed in the case, but I was super-far down the totem pole back then.

This ain’t butter, so it was always leftovers from someone else’s house…
There are people who still think lab-created vaguely butter tasting schmoo is healthier than real butter. This ain’t butter, so it was always leftovers from someone else’s house…
I had a Saturn SL1 back in 2000 and the first time I changed the oil I ended up taking the transmission filter off. I just couldn’t figure out why they put the oil filter on so tight. Leave it to Saturn to use a spin on trans filter. My old firm had a case years ago where a guy was using the standard jack to change the oil on a Saturn SL. Yes and no. If it's the food they are advertising for it's "real", other things not so much. I remember some articles/videos about a few of them. One was a brand of turkey, the turkey was real. But not edible. They stuffed it with tinfoil to plump it out and didn't bake it. They airbrushed it, the stuffing iirc they hit with a torch to give it the right look. Saw a video about a lady who does food photos for a living, she was talking about shooting for McD's she went to several different stores and bought multiple of each items from each one. Then at the studio she took them all apart and arranged the best looking items together. I believe she even took off the sesame seeds and rearranged them to give the best look. And yes unless they are advertising ice cream, chances are the ice cream is probably mashed potatoes. My understanding is almost all food in commercials is fake…
Saw an entire show on food photography, including McD‘s and most of it was hand sculpted. Ever seen a hour old Big Mac? Ain’t appetizing…Yes and no.
