A savage model 3 and a colt's woodsman early elementary school. Winchester 52s in hunter/shooting safety courses in 2nd-3rd grade. My first gun of my very own my 10th birthday, a Ruger 10-22.
I guess I could count my Daisy BB gun. Moved up to a CO2 pellet gun pretty quick but didn't make the jump to real firearms until I was 22! I shot a single shot 20 gauge for rabbit hunting with my uncle and also a double barrel 16 gauge. The first gun I owned was/is a Remington 597 .22lr
- BB gun at cub scout camp
- .22 bolt action rifle at boyscout camp
- 20? gauge shotgun at boyscout camp
- then I didn't shoot anything for about 15 years (besides some random airsoft guns in college)
- last week I went out with a friend and shot a Glock 23, a sig .22, and a 12 gauge mossberg
Remington 1100 12 gauge and Savage .22 bolt action. Been sitting behind the door in the house for so long, begging to be shoot. Finally told the old man to let me take out. Been shooting ever since.
Grandpas old 410. wasn't big enough to get the stock against my shoulder, left a huge bruise on my bicep. I wore that bruise like a badge of honor though!
