It was. Son and I met Leadeye this morning, and now we both have lever guns. Came home, cleaned them, shot them, then cleaned them again. Lots of conversation, and smiles. Stellar day.

Did much the same, some clean and fix then out to the range. The 1894 SRC shot cast 32-40s with no issue at all and the S&W 1899 was spot on. The .357 Uberti SA will take some front sight adjustment it cants to the left, not a hard fix. I think this revolver was distressed by somebody into CAS, the outside is rustic, while the inside is good.
