I've been having the hots for the POF Revolution piston .308

Everything I've read on it says it is the nuts.

I have yet to see one in the wild - but I may just hafta take a chance and get one when the funds allow.

    Perfect hog gun.

All this Noveske talk had me running to my safe and grabbing my 11" BCM w/Velocity Trigger and admiring it and resetting the trigger just to feel it.

What a terrific piece of shooting iron.
Cant go wrong with POF or BCM

For the ignorant among us, and I'm talking really ignorant about new AR, what is different here between this and a regular AR? The safety looks like it has an intermediate position.

Little subleties, but mainly just a higher quality material and workmanship goes into making them. Otherwise this one is the same core design as a standard AR-15. The barrels were known for accuracy due to the founder's R&D work, he made barrels with Pac-Nor out of Oregon and went on to start his own company where he made his own barrels. He wanted a Precision AR that could shoot right along side a bolt action. This one has an 18" barrel with an intermediate gas system (in between mid-length and rifle length gas). The safety on this one has a shortened throw of 60 degrees versus 90 degrees. They took a Magpul Ambi safety designed for an FN Scar and combined it with a safety on an AR.
