Sweet!!! Haze gray and underway.
spill the beans, what ya buy!Just got back from my LGS...
What aircraft is that? Corporate pilot? While in Quincy, I got to watch my son preflight and the take off with a load of passengers as co-pilot. That was really cool to see
It's a Tecnam P2012. He flies with Cape Air, doing regional passenger flights. From Quincy, he flies passengers to ORD and St LouisWhat aircraft is that? Corporate pilot?
I know what you mean. Sad to see places like this run down. Not quite the same but went to visit the Naval Academy where I was stationed 1978-80 not long after 9-11. Sandbagged gates and security like I had never seen in my time. Just not the same feel.On the way back, I took a quick detour to Chanute AFB, where I spent 11 weeks 40 years ago this summer. That was sad and depressing, but a little cool to see too.
Cool! I remember when Tecnam started out with a light sport category aircraft. They have definitely increased their stable since then. I envy your son for his career. Hope he enjoys it.It's a Tecnam P2012. He flies with Cape Air, doing regional passenger flights. From Quincy, he flies passengers to ORD and St Louis

Same here.I'm happy to have been able to take part in that project. It really was cool
It was probably a mistake to go back there. I should have left the good memories be. Nothing demonstrates the passage of time like the decay of the location of cherished memories. First, a tribute to CM. He traded me this Standard Mfg 1911 for an old Marlin lever action. Hope you got to shoot it Sir. Being the flashy guy he is, he had these pimp grips on the Standard. Before and after shots - which one y'all like?
Thanks for everything, CM. The love you've spread around in this world is getting ready to surround and protect you into the next phase, X 1000. Mark my words. Godspeed, Sir.

Sounds like we are from the same era. Man I miss those days. It’s hard seeing the places of your youth change so much.It was probably a mistake to go back there. I think that I was almost expecting to see my 19 year old self still hanging out there.
I think CM and I met 4 times on the pantsless highway by the time that was done. Dennys in Lebanon. Everyone was very excited for the project.View attachment 219993

Those who were involved that I can remember including WTB, CM, KJQ, H45, 88, TT, Chris K, Mcapo, Wizard and possible others that I cannot remember (I'm old)
Who said that was bread.
I will be honest, I am VERY tempted by that Springfield. I'm trying to figure out if I can sell a kidney or something. Those belong to my friend Bill up around Lafayette.
I can’t believe all the cool “watering holes “ aka LGS that have closed. The only ones opening are the large commercials with their own rules and not much cool used stuff.Sounds like we are from the same era. Man I miss those days. It’s hard seeing the places of your youth change so much.
I want in.An object which, often after being touched by the Wizard, transcends its mechanical perfection and binds the souls of those lucky enough to be blessed with the CZickness.
