When I pulled the front of the case off to replace the pair of fans there, I screwed up the reset switch somehow. Now, the reset switch is permanently contacted which gives the MB a lot of odd errors, such as CPU initialization and no memory installed. Disconnect the reset switch and all is good again. So what was the real problem?
This is why the OS system crashed in my wife's desktop, I just bought a new one...When I pulled the front of the case off to replace the pair of fans there, I screwed up the reset switch somehow. Now, the reset switch is permanently contacted which gives the MB a lot of odd errors, such as CPU initialization and no memory installed. Disconnect the reset switch and all is good again.
