That Standard AR is a very very nice iron for that money.

I don't disagree, but I'm not sure it's the deal I should jump onto at this point since I have a 5.56 and it's just a range toy for me (at this point). I did send it to a couple of people who've discussed first AR purchases with me.


Finally got my bench vise mounted and installed the barrel on my upper receiver. 16" 300 BO Faxon barrel w/ carbine length gas and a KVP linear comp to reduce ear concussion (to me). Will sight it in my the Vortex 1x prism this weekend when I go to WV.
