This showed in the mail over the weekend. Never loaded 45lc before but hoping to need lots of it!

Post up if you need tips. It's a great cartridge.

Dang ..... forum software is wonky. It won't let me delete 'conversations', yet says that my max has been reached. Impossible to start a new convo with Ben.
I give up .... this entire day has been screwy !!!

    .
I know a couple of guys who are alcoholics.
One hasn't had a drink in nearly 25 years, the other who sometimes falls off the wagon over the last 30 years.
BOTH of these guys would go on binges where they'd sit home drunk for weeks at a time before coming up for air.
They weren't mean drunks, just self destructive.

On the flip side, I have a stepdaughter who's still in denial that she shouldn't drink.
She's also a mean drunk and usually becomes nasty when she's drinking.
We wish she'd get help, but there's no talking to her.

I would add that I've done my share of drinking in my life, and have never understood why somebody drinks so they can get p*ssed off and be nasty to people.
My late father in law used to always say when people drink they're either "lovers" or "fighters".

I've always been a sleepy drunk.;)

In your conversations, next to the Replies column on the left is a little check box. Click in it and it'll bring up a menu at the very bottom that let's you decide what to do with the selected conversations. Leave conversation seems to be the same as deleting the conversations. Not very intuitive, that's for sure.

    Good Morning, EVERYONE.!!

I've had a rib outta place for running on 2 weeks now.

Gonna hit Columbus Chiro tomorrow and pop that sucka back into place.!!

It has be beaten down but I'm gonna win.

Hope your day is a terrific one.!!
I hope they can get you fixed up. I've never had a rib issue, but plenty of shoulder/neck problems. An out of place rib doesn't sound very enjoyable.

Another successful range trip. Good calm weather and had the place to myself the entire time.

Tried out the 69 grain Sierra Match Kings in the Howa 223. The best I could muster was with the case filled weight of 24.7 grains. I was originally going to use 25.0 grains as the max for testing, but I got a compressed load and it pushed my bullet seating depth out by .003", then tried 24.8 grains and still had .001" of increase, so I stopped at 24.7 grains for testing.

My second time out with 77gr SMK's, so this was finer tuning from the first session. The sweet spot is definitely around the 22.3 grain area. I'll test further and try 22.1, 22.2 and 22.4 next time out. I believe the the flyer on the first group at 22.5 was my fault, so I may test 22.5 again.

The .308 has a sweet spot somewhere in the 42.0 - 43.0 area, I know I can find it with further testing. The .581" average with 42.5 grains is pretty close to my best average of .536" with this rifle's favorite factory load, Federal 168gr SMK, which averages 2574 fps in this rifle. I'm using Hornady ELD Match bullets in my reloads, but plan to get some SMK's for testing at a later time.
