I'm not sure why I am awake either, but here I am.Not sure why I'm awake but I am. Probably because I'm not in my own bed (travel).
Morning WT
Whatchu need a .17 cal rod for?.Placed an order with Brownells, since they had all items I wanted. Bore Tech nylon brushes, Bore Tech Rimfire solvent, Tipton .17 cleaning rod, some Lucas CLP and a 457 bore guide. I feel better now. The 2 cups of coffee may have helped.
Mainly for the 457, but similar reasons for the other 22 rifles. Haven't been too thrilled with the Tipton .22 rod I've been using. It rubs the ejector slightly and doesn't give me that warm/fuzzy feeling going down the bore. Did a little research and seems like general consensus is that going with a .17 - .20 rod helps alleviate these issues. And CZ recommends it as well in their FAQ section.Whatchu need a .17 cal rod for?.
Same. Been up since 4am. Felt like crap and thinking about all things gun cleaning.
I take some responsibility in this.Placed an order with Brownells, since they had all items I wanted. Bore Tech nylon brushes, Bore Tech Rimfire solvent, Tipton .17 cleaning rod, some Lucas CLP and a 457 bore guide. I feel better now. The 2 cups of coffee may have helped.
No worries, but you have door greeting duties, RR needs a potty break.I take some responsibility in this.
