You got one of the better “Loudner’s” on that one.

This sounds great! It's official Kathy & I are moving down to Lawrence and within 1.5 miles from our Daughter's house! More time and easier to visit the kids & Granddaughter. Closing was today and we will be moving on the 16th! It's been something we have wanted to do for a long time.

I'm just glad I was smart and decided to mainly shoot 22 to save money. I've saved so much now, I could probably retire.I’m thinking about adding a Sig M11-A1 to the family. It would round out my setup with 1 more 9mm compact. I might well be Glock free by Christmas this year. I just sold my Gen 3 G23 and that’s a gun that I had never thought I’d sell. After shooting the G23.4 along side my P229 Legion at the FGE, I realized that I don’t shoot it nearly as well, even with a red dot on it.
My handgun skills have dropped off with the lack of shooting for sure. In 2019, I topped 13k rounds for the year. In 2021 so far, I’m still short of the 3k mark and half of that or more has been through rifles. The kitchen project pulled me away from shooting for a bit and the cost of ammo has pulled shooting away from me for a longer time. I need to fix that now that the summer is winding down.
I’ve only made a single trip to MCFG this year. I used to hit that range every Friday morning and on many of those days, CM would shoot with me. I need to fix this and get my a$$ back to the range regularly, damned the cost.

3 great optionsI wish that I could get into rimfire as deeply as the rest of this group. I can practice with my P07 using the Kadet kit but that runs dirty and after a while, will start getting FTF. Sig used to make rimfire kits for some of the classic guns but they are near impossible to find now days.
I really don’t have much in the way of handguns to play in the rimfire pool now days. Just the Ruger MkIV, CZ kit and a Heritage revolver.
