will take a few hours at the hospital getting an infusion and then I have a pump with me for 2 days. Sounds like. Party.
Morning brother. Look on the bright side, the chances of getting a cute nurse are pretty good. And if CKW reads this, mcapo told me to say it.Today starts my chemo.

Great question, I have been wondering the same thing lately myself. At FGE, I noticed a few people had electronic ear plugs. Any recommendations on a set? Do you find them as effective as electronic earmuffs?

If it's FedEx take it with a grain of salt, next time you check it will probably show delay or pending.Got a FedEx tracking number for my RWS 22 ammo. Shows ETA is this Thursday. So I should see it next Tuesday.

Sorry for the length.Great question, I have been wondering the same thing lately myself.
CameraMonkey told me that the Axil (I think that is the spelling), the base set and the "Pro" set use the same drivers, so no change in quality of sound/sound dampening between the two.
I love your optimism. Anyone want to put odds on whether FedSux meets Spicey's guess?Got a FedEx tracking number for my RWS 22 ammo. Shows ETA is this Thursday. So I should see it next Tuesday.

Spicey will research the hell out of this and when he posts the results we'll know the best place to get them. Thanks in advance Carlos.Sorry for the length.
I started with Howard Leight Impact muffs. My biggest complaint was the sound clipping. They killed all sound during a gunshot and interrupted a conversation and range commands. Not a big deal but annoying.
I switched to Sordin Supreme PRO X muffs with gel earpads. These are wonderful for comfort and sound modulation and I still carry them today in case I need to double up. The gel earpads are very comfortable even over eye pro. If you are happy with another brand, consider getting gel pads for them for additional comfort.
I used Walker Silencer earbuds for a couple of years. Comfortable with good sound modulation. My biggest complaint is they use zinc air hearing aid batteries. One you activate them they continuously "run" whether the buds are turned on or not. In a couple of days the batteries are dead. The batteries are cheap and easy to change quickly so not a deal breaker, buy again, annoying.
I tried AXIL Ghost Stryke Essential earbuds. Comfortable, rechargeable battery is ok, connecting wire can be a little annoying but the deal breaker is the level of background noise. It is noticeable and annoying on the lowest volume and as you turn the volume up the background noise is horrible. Maybe I got a bad set (?) and maybe other shooters are not experiencing this, but from my experience I can not recommend these at all.
I have been using OTTO Engineering NoizeBarrier ear buds for a couple of years now and LOVE them. Warning...if high price bothers you, walk away now. The supplied ear inserts are ok but I get very picky and use Westone foam inserts with my Otto's. These buds have good sound reduction and compression, have good rechargeable batteries built in with excellent life on a charge and come with a case that has a large battery in it that automatically charges the buds and will charge them many times. My only minor complaint is I wish they had one lower sound setting. These things are simply GREAT. If I lost mine today I would have another set ordered immediately. (Westone foam inserts)
For the other end of the spectrum and non electric, I REALLY like Surefire EP7 ear plugs. Comfortable and good sound reduction. They have a small open channel that let's you have conversations while still reducing gunshot noise enough. If you need more sound reduction you can close the cap on the channel. I used these for years and still carry these in my range bag for backups.
I did not check pricing in the links I included so do you research.
