I buy Federal American Eagle 147gr by the case. I've never had a gun that wouldn't run it. Until now. :(

Gonna try a tuners pack of springs from CGW to see if I can get it to run reliably. A suppressor gun that won't shoot sub sonic ammo, makes me sad.

Do they make a 147gr FMJ that has a round nose? The federals I use are flat, and I think part of the issue.

Heh.. I've had good luck with the HSTs in just about everything but I really do need to test it more than I have in the SP01. I've probably only run maybe 2 dozen through that one. I now have an excuse for buying ammo and doing a scientific test. CM, we need to grab the lab coats and hit the range one of these nice warm Friday mornings. Guns will be shot and slide rules will be slid.

I'm a HST fan myself. Great mix of quality and value and runs great in all of my carry guns thus far.

    Morning folks! :coffee:

That is interesting. I have a bunch of cast 147g bullets that I use for reloading and I can't get them to run in a CZ for anything. They run fine in a Sig 938, but the short CZ chamber jams them into the lands and sticks it there solid out of battery. In those cases though, the bullet feeds, just does not go into battery. A chamber reamer could fix that but the ramp geometry or short leade is a bigger issue to deal with.

Morning. Wasn’t thrilled with snow on the car this morning.

Thought about buying this for MindfulMan but don’t know his mailing address. Would be a nice “recovery” gift from his sudden reduction in altitude he recently experienced.
