Getting ready to tear apart a Honda generator. My parents have had it for about 8 years and hangs never done any maintenance on it. They also haven't cared much about putting ethanol fuel in it and leaving it sit all winter. Interested to see how gummed up everything is.

I got the HB Industries trigger for the P10C today and installed it. It does feel a lot better than the stock trigger. Before the swap, I was measuring 4.5# average at the middle of the trigger shoe and after, I'm at 5#. The geometry is identical, but the new trigger has a bump on it to eliminate about half of the pre-travel. I'm not sure what would have raised the pull, but I'm still using the stock striker spring which is supposed to be about 4.3#. The new trigger came with a 3.0# and 3.5# spring, so I'll have to check those out to see what I'm getting for a pull weight with them installed. The gun has just a bit of pre-travel with the new trigger and the reset might even be a tad shorter. The best part is that it eliminates the pinching that I get with the original trigger.

Very nice. I look forward to trying it out :yesway:

I just installed the 3.5# striker spring it came with and the pull is down to 4# flat. I don't know if I want to go any lighter than that with the short pre-travel it has now. Feels pretty good though.

That sounds like a winner. I like around 4 - 4.5lbs for a carry gun, especially with a nice, short, tactile reset.

Trigger looks great Tim, hope it works well for you.

Got 'The Call' from CGW today on the SP-01. Funny though, I've learned so much and changed some preferences (like trigger weight) and have acquired and also shot some really great CZs since I sent it in, it will be even more interesting now to see what it's like when it returns home. Looking forward to it!

Yup. Especially when near the same services are available more locally...:):

    I have a CGW 97. Very nice.
I have a Cajun Customs Shadow. Also very nice.
I have a couple from the Wizard and they are as nice.

It's funny how much my tastes have changed since getting into CZs and then discovering CGW. I let my CZ 97B go before I knew CGW existed and would probably still have it had I had it properly tuned with CGW parts.

One thing I noticed when I was installing the HBI trigger was that my P10C was filthy inside. It's probably been 1000 rounds since it was really cleaned and close to 200 since I even pulled a bore snake through it. I was surprised at how gunked up it was inside. There was zero indication that I was in need of a good cleaning before taking it down for the trigger. Overall, I'm impressed that it showed no grittiness or other sign of neglect.

Just stop, I don't need one of these. It would serve no purpose for me....I really don't. Plus you have to buy dedicated magazines. I don't need it, really.

I need you to shoot this P10C some day. It will cure you of the need to buy one. As much as I like this gun and as good as the trigger feels to me, it's still a striker fired gun and will never approach the feel of one of your CGW enhanced guns. Just remember to add this to every statement I make about how good the gun is: "... for a striker fired gun.". Also, remember that when I say that this gun is really nice and has a great trigger, it's coming from a guy that still likes G***ks.

I have an ammo deal with a covert operative of a little known shadow group (:shady:) and once complete my ammo locker will be full.
There is a comped barrel to put in my stainless 1911 TRP.
1 AR project near done. With it I will be pretty much at a standstill on all projects until I see where the medical issues with the spouse are going. She comes 1st.

I have no complaints. The safe is filled with some really neat stuff. I can think of nothing else I want right now but surely that will change.
