Heard back from CGW today, the wait is over and time to send the SP01 Tactical in for lube, oil and filter.
This is gonna get interesting. Heard nothing but praise, so I'll be very curious to see what happens.
Maybe as I get better acquainted with ya'll I can get in line for the Wizard to work on another of mine.
    Getting fun now!

It sure is. I am not sure if I'm a 1911 guy with a thing for CZs or a CZ guy that has a thing for 1911s. I used to self identify as a 1911 nut, but I find that I've gotten almost twice as many CZs now than I do 1911s. Still though, I think I have more money into 1911s. No matter what, they are both addicting in a really good way.

I thought I was a 1911 guy, then I thought I was a CZ guy, then a Sig guy. I've finally come to realize, I'm just a gun guy... ;)

Just don't become a G**** fanboy! I like G****s well enough, but see no reason to celebrate mediocrity through fanboyism. Now, a CZ is worthy of celebration.

I am still a dyed in the wool 1911 guy. To deeply ingrained to change.

In this I have found some solace in getting involved with this lott.
    I have 5 serious CZ's.
    7 1911's and 1 2011.

I am as accurate with the CZ's as I am with the 1911's.

I had some range time yesterday with some rifles. I only took one pistol out there, a CZ.......:faint:

We had a range day at LMW's and I ran several AR's. Could not ring the gong at 200 to save my life.
Found all the optics were high left. I checked my bore laser and it was....wait for it......high left. Seems they do not take well to being smacked around.
I recently bought an up-grade and spent 2 hours this afternoon addressing the issue with the optics.

I was re-zeroing a couple guns where I moved optics around. It was a good day, and several were WAY off.

That's a great analysis, wt ! .... and I fit the same mold. :rockwoot:

I truly love my heavy metal hammer fired guns, but this Canik has made me realize there is still some value to well made poly framed striker fired guns as well. CZ's and 1911's will always be my passion, but I can find it in my heart to love other guns as well... :D

    Morning folks! :coffee:

This has been an odd time for me with the P10. I love 1911s and CZ 75s and keep adding them to the collection, yet for EDC, can't seem to get too far away from the P10C every day. I think that I'm past the new gun enthusiasm phase of it, but it's still the one that gets carried each day pretty much since it was at the 300 round mark. I really should get back to carrying the P01 again though. That, and my compact 75s are arguably better pistols than the P10C, yet that dang P10 is what gets holstered each morning.
